Leupold FireDot Duplex — second focal plane, MOA subtensions, 3–15×
Official 2021 Reticles PDF page 33. VX-5HD published High-X / Low-X: 1-5x a=1.7/8.5 b=0.7/3.5 c=56.3/281.5; 2-10x a=0.8/4.0 b=0.3/1.5 c=28.6/143.0; 3-15x a=0.6/3.0 b=0.2/1.0 c=18.8/94.0; 4-20x a=0.4/2.0 b=0.2/1.0 c=14.1/70.5. Elements use the 3-15x High-X row (a=0.6, b=0.2, c=18.8), referenceMagnification=15. FireDot diameter unpublished. Separate from the VX-6HD table — do not mix. Illumination: official 2021 Reticles PDF — “Fiber-optic powered center red-dot”; 2026 catalog — “NOTE: All Firedot reticles are illuminated” and “daylight-visible red illuminated FireDot in the center”. Only the center FireDot glows. Diameter is drawn but not numbered, so no invented d on the center dot.
How this one was checked
Re-verified 11 Sep 2026 against the 2021 Leupold Reticles catalogue — page 33 for the FireDot Duplex tables and page 23 for Fine Duplex. ⚠️ CORRECTED: 'c = Thin Opening' is the FULL opening, not a radius. The catalogue's callout settles it — the c leader carries TWO arrowheads, one at the upper heavy line's inner end and one at the lower, spanning the gap between them. This record previously used c as a half-width and so drew a clear centre twice its true size. a (Heavy Line) and b (Thin Line) are thicknesses, shown by vertical double-arrows across the lines, and those were already correct. SFP: the tables publish High-X and Low-X and this record uses High-X, the top magnification, where Leupold's subtensions are true. The FireDot's dot diameter is not published on page 33, so the centre is drawn as the illuminated element with no size claimed.
