Official 2021 Leupold reticle manual page 13 (FFP TMR, Mark 5HD, non-illuminated). Published on the page: 0.05MIL fine lines, 0.20MIL medium lines, 0.40MIL heavy lines, 0.10MIL, 0.20MIL, 0.40MIL, 0.50MIL, 0.75MIL, 1.00MIL and 2.50MIL marks. || Rebuilt 9 Sep 2026 from the PDF's vector coordinates. Three corrections to the earlier record. (i) Every tick was TWICE its true length: the record drew the whole-mil ticks 0.8 long and the halves 0.4, reading the sheet's 0.40MIL and 0.20MIL callouts as half-lengths. Measured on the sheet's own magnified detail they are 0.385 and 0.195 TOTAL. The outer ticks were all drawn 1.5 long; they are 1.00 at 10/15/20/25/30 and 0.75 at 12.5/17.5/22.5/27.5. (ii) The 0.2 mil milling hashes sit between 4 and 5 mil, at 4.2/4.4/4.6/4.8 - the record's notes placed them between 1 and 2 and its geometry drew a plain 0.5 mil ladder all the way to 9.5. There are no half-mil ticks beyond 4: from 5 to 9 the sheet marks whole mils only, with a longer 0.60 tick. (iii) The stadia have THREE weights, not one: fine 0.05 from centre to 5, medium 0.20 from 5 to 10, heavy 0.40 beyond 10. The record drew 0.05 all the way to 10 and had no medium section at all. Also added: the 0.10 mil centre gap and the 10/20/30 numerals on all four arms. The heavy bar is drawn to 34.5 mil, where the sheet's field-of-view boundary cuts it; that outer end is artboard, not a reticle dimension.
How this one was checked
Verified 9 Sep 2026 against page 13 of Leupold's 2021 reticle manual (FFP TMR, TACTICAL MILLING RETICLE, MARK 5HD) by reading the PDF's VECTOR strokes with pymupdf. Two views on that page were used and cross-checked. The FULL RETICLE view carries its numerals as real text, which fixes the scale without inference: the 10/20/30 pairs on both axes give 4.3267 pt/mil about (214.0, 485.0), worst residual 0.06 mil over 30. The magnified windage detail at the bottom of the page gives the same geometry at 43.6 pt/mil (0.5 mil tick pitch measured over eight intervals), which is what the tick LENGTHS were taken from - 0.383/0.385 on the whole mils, 0.192/0.198 on the halves, 0.195 on the 0.2 mil hashes and 0.600 on the 5 mil tick, i.e. the sheet's own 0.40 / 0.20 / 0.60 callouts read as TOTAL lengths. Line weights come out of the same view: 2.507 pt = 0.0575 mil from centre to 5 (0.05MIL Fine Lines), 7.86 pt = 0.180 mil from 5 to 10 (0.20MIL Medium Lines) and 0.378 mil beyond 10 (0.40MIL Heavy Lines). Checked line by line: no centre dot, a 0.107 mil total gap at centre; ticks every 0.5 mil to 4, then 0.2 mil hashes at 4.2/4.4/4.6/4.8, then whole mils only to 9, a 1.00 tick at 10, then 2.5 mil steps to 30 alternating 0.75 (12.5/17.5/22.5/27.5) and 1.00 (15/20/25/30) drawn ACROSS the heavy bar so they protrude either side of it; identical on all four arms; numerals 10/20/30 on every arm, below the windage axis and left of the elevation axis; no hold grid, no circles, no fine sub-scale near centre. The two faint circles on the page at radius 9.86 and 13.97 mil are the 25x and 18x field-of-view rings, not reticle.
