Drawn to scale from Leupold’s own specification sheet, and checked
mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.
Official 2021 Reticles PDF page 18. Same layout as non-illum PR1-MIL except published fine-line weight is 0.10 MIL (vs 0.04). Center-dot diameter remains 0.05 MIL. Medium 0.15 MIL, heavy 0.25 MIL. Illumination covers the inner stadia and center. Illumination: official 2021 Reticles PDF prints the illuminated portion of this reticle in red (inner stadia / hashes / center; heavy outer posts remain black). Colour taken from that overlay. Leupold does not print a separate “illuminationColors” sentence on this page.
How this one was checked
Verified 11 Sep 2026 from the 2021 Leupold Reticles catalogue page 18 at 400 dpi. Scale 62.5 px/MIL from the 0.20 MIL spacing, confirmed independently by the 5 and 10 numerals at 317 px apart. ⚠️ The first measuring pass was wrong and the reason is worth carrying: it sampled red and black together, so Leupold's black callout brackets were read as reticle geometry and inflated the mark lengths. The reticle is RED and the annotation BLACK; measuring red only makes every number fall into place. MEASURED against the printed callouts: marks every 0.20 MIL to 10; ABOVE centre minors 0.19 [0.20] and majors 0.40 [0.40]; BELOW centre minors 0.40 [0.40] and majors 0.61 [0.80]; band 10-15 line 0.144 [0.15 Medium] with marks every 1.0 at 1.01 [1.00]; band 15-30 line 0.256 [0.25 Heavy] with marks every 2.5 at 1.52 [1.50]; numerals 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30. The marks are ASYMMETRIC about centre — below-centre marks are twice the above-centre ones and the callouts say so — so mirroring the arms would be wrong. TWO callouts disagree with the drawing and the PUBLISHED figure is taken: fine line weight drawn 0.032 against a published 0.10, and below-centre majors drawn 0.61 against a published 0.80. Everything else on the page — four other mark lengths, two line weights, two spacings — matches within 2%, so the drawing is accurate in general and these two are simplifications in its densest, finest part.
