Leupold Fine Duplex

Drawn to scale from Leupold’s own specification sheet, and checked mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.

Subtensions

Official 2021 Reticles PDF page 23. Published High-X only (Low-X blank): VX-3i 6.5-20x a=0.2 b=0.1 c=2.7; VX-3i 8.5-25x a=0.2 b=0.1 c=2.1; FX-1 4x a=1.3 b=0.4 c=16.5. Elements use the 6.5-20x High-X row. 2021 catalog also lists Fine Duplex on VX-3HD / VX-Freedom / FX but those rows are not in the numeric table — do not copy VX-3i numbers onto other lines. Non-illuminated variant in the 2021 Reticles PDF (no illumination overlay).

How this one was checked

Re-verified 11 Sep 2026 against the 2021 Leupold Reticles catalogue — page 33 for the FireDot Duplex tables and page 23 for Fine Duplex. ⚠️ CORRECTED: 'c = Thin Opening' is the FULL opening, not a radius. The catalogue's callout settles it — the c leader carries TWO arrowheads, one at the upper heavy line's inner end and one at the lower, spanning the gap between them. This record previously used c as a half-width and so drew a clear centre twice its true size. a (Heavy Line) and b (Thin Line) are thicknesses, shown by vertical double-arrows across the lines, and those were already correct. SFP: the tables publish High-X and Low-X and this record uses High-X, the top magnification, where Leupold's subtensions are true. The FireDot's dot diameter is not published on page 33, so the centre is drawn as the illuminated element with no size claimed.

Subtensions are published by the manufacturer and reproduced here for reference. Confirm your own dope on a range before you rely on any of it. Harson.ai is not affiliated with Leupold.
