Nightforce MOAR-CF2D (NX8 4-32x50 F2)

Drawn to scale from Nightforce’s own specification sheet, and checked mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.

Nightforce MOAR-CF2D (NX8 4-32x50 F2) — second focal plane, MOA subtensions, 4–32×

Framed to about 40 MOA — the part of the reticle you aim with. This reticle carries marks out to 60 MOA; the rest sits beyond the edge of this drawing.

Subtensions

Nightforce MOAR-CF2 / MOAR-CF2D Reticle Sheet (REV 0720) page 2, MOAR-CF2D column, measured @ 16x, MOA: A=50 horizontal scale, B=0.095 line, C=1.0 the centred marks at +/-1, D=0.5 odd/even marks, E=2.0 the 5-MOA marks, F=0.5, G=1.0 pitch, H=2.0 same-side pitch, I=0.75 numeral height, J=0.6 32x numeral height, K=0.2 illuminated centre dot, L=0.5 gap from the dot to the lines, M=1.0 gap from the 25 mark to the post tip, N=0.86 and O=1.72 post. Odd MOA marks hang up (horizontal) / left (vertical), even ones down / right, as the sheet's text says; at every 5 MOA the line and its 2 MOA cross mark are broken +/-0.5 around a 0.2 illuminated dot (not at the end marks +/-25, +5, -40, which are plain 2 MOA marks). Vertical runs +5 to -40; no top or bottom post. Side posts: hollow chevron (drawn as a solid taper 26 to 27.93), rails at +/-0.71 (0.3 thick) with the fine line between, solid bar from 34.96. Second focal plane: 16x scale (numerals 5-25 / 5-40) with the 32x scale printed as the small numerals 2.5-12.5 / 2.5-20 (J=.6 at 16x); at 32x every subtension is half the 16x value. F=0.5 duplicates D (the sheet letters the same half-length mark twice).

How this one was checked

Verified 9 Oct 2026 against Nightforce NF_MOAR-CF2_Reticle_Sheet (REV 0720, specs/nightforce/NF_MOAR-CF2_Reticle_Sheet.pdf) page 2, lower (MOAR-CF2D) drawing, read as VECTOR. Scale fitted by least squares to 77 axis marks: 4.0304 pt/MOA. All 45 vertical and 50 horizontal marks drawn match the odd-up-left / even-down-right rule in position (worst 0.118 MOA, artwork drift) and both ends, side included; every rule mark is drawn. The 1x1 MOA white knockouts were read off the sheet at every 5-MOA station and nowhere else. Measured against the table: A=50, L=0.5, B drawn 0.096, M 1.06, O 1.722, N (rail outer edge) 0.869; C, D, E by the mark rule; G, H by the pitch; I, J label sizes; K the dots. Numerals from the text layer. Post shoulder, rails and solid start measured (unpublished). Cross-checked by overlay (tools/nf_wave2_lib.crosscheck). Reference 16x from the sheet's 'Measured @' row.
