In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.

Drawn to scale from Nightforce’s own specification sheet, and checked mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.

Official 2026 MIL-C F1 sheet. Published: floating 0.05 MRAD center dot (G); A=10 mil inner horizontal (±5); E/I/K=0.2 mil hash increment; F=1 mil numbered spacing; D=0.4 mil (heavy post); L=0.1 mil; J=0.6 mil; N=2 mil (inverted-T width). Line weights vary by model (B/C/H/M): ATACR 7-35 & 5-25 B=C=0.033 H=0.20 M=0.029; ATACR 4-20 B=C=0.040 H=0.25 M=0.030; ATACR 4-16 B=C=0.040 H=0.35 M=0.030; NX8 4-32 B=C=0.036 H=0.22 M=0.031; NX8 2.5-20 B=C=0.041 H=0.25 M=0.035; NX6 6-36 B=C=0.034 H=0.19 M=0.030; NX6 5-30 B=C=0.036 H=0.22 M=0.032; NX6 3-18 B=C=0.042 H=0.26 M=0.036. Elements use ATACR 5-25/7-35 fine weight 0.033. Inverted-T ranging tool is published as offset from the main reticle (N=2, M=line weight) — placeholder geometry only, not a guessed overlay on the stadia. FFP: valid at all magnifications.
Rebuilt 11 Sep 2026 from the Nightforce MIL-C Reticle Sheet 2026 (REV 0126), page 1, rasterised at 400 dpi — 64.0 px/mil, centre px (1394, 2239). MEASURED: stadia hashes every 0.2 mil; major 0.59 mil on each whole mil (J=.6); minors 0.20 mil and ONE-SIDED — within each mil the .2 and .8 marks hang below/left of the line and the .4 and .6 marks sit above/right (I/K=.2); vertical +5.02 to -18.61 numbered 1-18 below centre only; horizontal +/-5.00 (A=10) numbered 1-5 with 10 at the post tips; posts +/-5.17 to +/-18.8 (D=.4); numerals 0.20 mil tall, 0.71 mil above the horizontal (H=.20); inverted-T base 2.03 mil (N=2) at y=-3.02, stem x=+3.11 spanning 2 mil, ticks every 0.1 mil at weight M=.029. Page 2's diagram stops the ladder at 8 and is stamped 'Reticles not to scale' — the previous record followed it and lost 10 mil of drop. Letter-table walk complete, all 14 accounted for in the geometry: A=10mil inner horizontal; B/C=.033 line weight (ATACR 7-35 & 5-25 column); D=.4 post height; E/I/K=.2 hash increment and minor length; F=1mil numbered pitch; G=.05 floating dot; H=.20 numeral height (measured 0.20-0.22); J=.6 major hash; L=.1 clear radius at centre (measured 0.094-0.11 on all four arms); M=.029 inverted-T weight; N=2mil T base. Item 5: post inner ends are chevrons facing inward, tip 5.30 reaching full height by 6.00 — drawn as a taper. The real post is hollow (three bands to ~10mil, two beyond); drawn solid at D=.4, the single dimension Nightforce publishes, and noted rather than silently simplified.
