In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.
Reticle library · Nightforce
Drawn to scale from Nightforce’s own specification sheet, and checked mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.
Framed to about 40 MOA — the part of the reticle you aim with. This reticle carries marks out to 74 MOA; the rest sits beyond the edge of this drawing.
Drawn from Nightforce Optics, Inc.’s published specification.
In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.
Official 2025 FC-DMx sheet, MOA column: A=0.75 centre dot; B=14 segmented circle (outer); C=64; D=4; E=16; F=7; G=0.21; H=4; I=2; J=4.8; K=3.44. Sheet text: the grid extends to 32 MOA. It is NOT the MRAD reticle converted - the grid starts at 8 MOA and steps 4 MOA to 32, there are no dots above centre (the MRAD version has two), and the bars carry 48 MOA hold marks on windage and 48 and 64 MOA on elevation. Only the horseshoe and centre dot are drawn red, so only those are marked illuminated.
Built 15 Sep 2026 from the FC-DMx 2025 sheet (REV 0825), page 1, lower-right disc, at 2.0798 pt per MOA. Page 1 of the sheet is to-scale VECTOR artwork, so this was read from the drawing operators rather than measured off a raster: every mark comes back as an exact rectangle, which is what catches a mark that is in the right place and the wrong length. Scale was fitted to the aiming grid (4 MOA pitch to +/-16) with the optical centre taken from the centre dot itself. Page 2 is a raster and is stamped "Reticles not to scale" - do not measure it; it is useful only for reading which feature each dimension letter points at. All eleven published letters were walked and each one lands on a measured feature: A the centre dot, B the OUTER diameter of the segmented circle, C the windage scale, D the grid pitch, E its half width, F the heavy bar thickness, G the line weight, H and I the major and minor tick SPACING (not their length), and J and K the side and top gaps in the circle, which are chords measured at the outer radius. MEASURED: windage to +/-32 MOA, minors every 4 MOA offset by 2 at 0.75 long, majors 1.5, the 16 MOA mark 3.0 and the 32 MOA mark 5.0; elevation the same to 32 MOA with the last bar 3.03 wide. Circle outer diameter 14.07 against a published 14, ring 0.754 thick, top gap 3.45 (K=3.44) and side gap 4.83 (J=4.8). Bars taper from 34 MOA to full 7 MOA width at 64.9 with hold marks 10 MOA long notched into them; the outer ends are the artwork's bound. 50 grid dots over 7 rows. Mark positions are put on the published 2 MOA graduation rather than taken from the drawing; the largest correction that needed was 0.10 MOA.
Harson Ballistics draws this reticle at your magnification with your holdover marked on it, from your rifle, load and conditions. Works with no signal and no account.
