How this one was checked
Rebuilt and confirmed against Nightforce's FC-DMx reticle sheet (upper-left disc, the MRAD version) rendered at 400 dpi, 37.15 px/mil from the 0.5 mil tick pitch with the 5 and 10 mil numerals as the check. The record was flagged for drawing a flat grid where the maker describes a tapered one; measured row by row the grid is +/-2 mil at row 1, +/-3 at rows 2-3 and +/-5 from row 4 to row 10, dots on the whole mils. The illuminated horseshoe is now drawn as it is on the sheet: four red arcs at a 2.0 mil radius (red pixels measured at 1.81-2.15 mil), 0.34 thick, spanning roughly 15-78, 102-165, 192-232 and 302-338 degrees, with a 0.2 mil red centre dot. Windage ticks every 0.5 mil from 1 to 10: halves +/-0.1, the 1 and 2 mil marks shortened to +/-0.17 to clear the horseshoe, 3/4/6/7/8/9 at +/-0.48 and 5/10 longest. Elevation 1 mil marks +/-0.5, halves +/-0.1, to 10 mil. Heavy bars from 12 mil.
