Drawn to scale from Nightforce’s own specification sheet, and checked
mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.
Framed to about 40 MOA — the part of the reticle you aim with. This reticle carries marks out to 60 MOA; the rest sits beyond the edge of this drawing.
Nightforce FVR-1 Reticle Sheet (REV 0825) page 2: A=.1 MOA illuminated centre dot, B=.05 MOA crosshair, 'measured at maximum magnification' (36x). A plain fine crosshair running to the field edge; there are no hold marks. Lines beyond 10 MOA are post-type elements of the same .05 weight so the display frames the centre. Nightforce's NX6 6-36x56 product page lists FVR-1 as its reticle with 'Focal Plane: Second'.
How this one was checked
Verified 9 Oct 2026 against Nightforce FVR-1 Reticle Sheet (REV 0825, specs/nightforce/FVR-1-Reticle-Sheet.pdf) page 2. The drawing is a raster ('Reticles not to scale'), used for structure only: full crosshair, unbroken, edge to edge on both axes, with a red (illuminated) dot at the crossing and nothing else in the field (read at 300 dpi). Both letters represented: A dot .1, B line .05, from the table. Reference magnification 36x from the sheet footnote.
