Drawn to scale from Nightforce’s own specification sheet, and checked
mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.
Framed to about 40 MOA — the part of the reticle you aim with. This reticle carries marks out to 60 MOA; the rest sits beyond the edge of this drawing.
Nightforce FC-6c Reticle Sheet (REV 1225) page 2, MOA 'measured at maximum magnification' (6x): A=.5 illuminated centre dot, B=.5 fine line, C=1.5 heavy bar, D=30 opening between the side bar tips, E=25 centre to the bottom bar tip. BDC table (100 yd zero, heavy .223/5.56): 200 yd 1.5 MOA / .95 MOA windage, 300 yd 4 / 1.55, 400 yd 7.7 / 2.2, 500 yd 12 / 2.9, 600 yd 17.3 / 3.65; windage is the 5 mph reference at each mark's tip, so each mark is drawn 2x the windage figure long. Yardages are NOT printed in the reticle and are nominal (the sheet says check with a ballistic calculator). Bars taper from the line weight at the tip to full C at 19.757 (sides) and 29.757 (bottom), measured. No bar at 12 o'clock; the fine line runs to the field edge.
How this one was checked
Verified 9 Oct 2026 against Nightforce FC-6c Reticle Sheet (REV 1225, specs/nightforce/FC-6c-Reticle-Sheet.pdf) page 2, read as VECTOR: the reticle is one 64-vertex filled outline. One scale (3.2737 pt/MOA about the red dot) fitted to the published D=30 bar opening reproduces every other published figure: A dot .5, B line .5, C bar 1.5, E bottom tip 25.0, and all five BDC marks' elevation and half-length to within 3-4% (200: 1.50/0.95; 300: 4.00/1.55; 400: 7.70/2.20; 500: 12.00/2.90; 600: 17.30/3.65). Mark thickness = B. Taper lengths measured (4.76 MOA on both axes). Cross-checked by overlaying the record on a raster of the sheet at the same scale (tools/nf_wave2_lib.crosscheck). All five letters and the BDC table represented. Reference magnification 6x from the sheet footnote.
