Subtensions

Official per-scope sheets VTX_DAK-3902 (3-9x40) and VTX_DAK-41202 (4-12x40), identical. Published, MOA at the highest magnification (9x / 12x - the record takes each owner's own top power): the fine line runs 4.8 from centre, line .29, post .87. Drawn, not published (both other figures land on the scale fitted to the 4.8): the fine line widens to the post along a straight shoulder 0.45 long; a plain crosshair through centre. Posts drawn to 40 MOA. Reticle image shown for representation only.

How this one was checked

Verified 9 Oct 2026 against specs/vortex/VTX_DAK-3902_V-PLEX_MOA_RS_I_RI_ST.pdf page 1 (re-downloaded from the source URL the same day, byte-identical). Scale 12.901 pt/MOA fitted to the 4.8 dimension, centre (198.0, 221.102); line 0.290 and post 0.870 then land; the outline's ON-curve vertices give the shoulder (0.45); the 4-12x40 sheet's outline is vertex-for-vertex the same. Every published callout is checked in tools/build_vortex_wave2.py and lands. Checklist walked: rows and extents, hash spacing, numerals, centre element and gap, post tips, which side of the line each mark sits (all centred unless the notes say otherwise), every callout.

Subtensions are published by the manufacturer and reproduced here for reference. Confirm your own dope on a range before you rely on any of it. Harson.ai is not affiliated with Vortex.
