Subtensions
Sheet says MRAD values are correct on all magnifications (FFP presentation). Geometry rebuilt from the maker's subtension chart. Printed callouts: .5 / .3 / .2 are TOTAL hash lengths on the upper and outer scales (integers / halves / 0.2 fine marks), 2 / 1 on the lower stadia (integers / halves), .5 spacing near centre, .2 fine spacing, 10.2 = side-bar inner end, 11 = top of bottom bar, .5 = bar thickness, 1 = length of the 1 mrad tick across each bar (at 15 on both side bars and the bottom bar; an earlier note read this as a 1.0 thick right bar - both bars are 0.5). Measured, not called out: crosshair runs through centre; 0.5 mrad marks to 4, a 0.3 mrad break, then 0.2 mrad fine marks from 4.4 to 10 on the horizontal and upper vertical; the line stops at 10 with a gap to the bar; a finer field line continues above 10.2. Numerals 2 4 6 8 10 above the horizontal both sides and right of the vertical above and below. Line weight 0.08 is the drawn weight, not a maker figure. Strike Eagle 4-24x50 EBR-4 is SFP on the product page - confirm focal plane per SKU.
How this one was checked
Compared against scratchpad/specs/vortex/vortex-ebr-4-mrad.pdf (VTX M-00369), PDF page 2 = printed pp 2-3 subtension chart, rendered at 600 dpi. Scale calibrated on the vertical 10 mrad hash (50.6 px/mrad) and cross-checked on the horizontal 10; callouts .5/.3/.2 and 2/1 lengths, 10.2 and 11 bars, .5 bar thickness, 1 bar ticks all measured within 0.02 mrad. Hash pattern including the 0.2 fine scale and the break at 4, numerals and positions, centre, bar tips and ticks checked on both the left and right diagrams.
