In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.

Drawn to scale from Vortex’s own specification sheet, and checked mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.
Drawn from Vortex Optics’s published specification.
In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.
FFP: 'subtensions measured in MRAD and remain constant at all magnifications'. Published: centre dot .2 and grid dots .2; vertical hashes 1 at whole mils and .2 at half mils; horizontal ticks .25 at half mils and .5 at whole mils; side posts from 8.5 and the bottom post from 11.5, .15 thick; ranging ladder lines .1. Drawn, not published (the sheet is to scale): crosshair .06 with an open 0.5 centre inside an illuminated broken ring 1.0 inside / 1.5 outside, four arcs from 17 to 73 degrees in each quadrant; the horizontal ticks stand ABOVE the line only, with a heavier (.15) stub BELOW, detached from the line (0.2-0.55 at odd mils, 0.2-0.7 at even); scales to 8 mil each side and 11 below; dot rows every mil from 1 to 11 below, dots at whole mils to +/-2 (rows 1-2), 3 (3-4), 4 (5-6), 5 (7-11); ranging ladder above centre with bars 0.7 / 0.9 / 1.1 / 1.5 wide at 9.1 / 9.5 / 10.0 / 10.8, numbered 6 / 5 / 4 / 3, and a 0.8 bar below it; a 0.6 tick across each post at 10. Numerals 2-8 on the horizontal scale, 10 at the post ticks, 2-10 beside the even grid rows. Posts drawn to 13.4 mil (the sheet's frame is 12.8). 9 Oct 2026: the AMG 1-10x24 FFP sheet (VTX_AMG-11002, widen id 9njx2mgllt - its file name says 1-4x24, its title 1-10x24 FFP) prints the same figures and draws the same outlines, so the AMG is listed too.
Verified 8 Oct 2026 against specs/vortex/VTX_RZR-11002_EBR-9_MRAD_RS_I_RI_ST.pdf page 1. Scale 14.095 pt/mil from the half-mil tick pitch, centre (198.0, 221.102) = the red centre dot; all ten published callouts land (listed in tools/build_vortex_ebr9_mrad.py). Geometry converted exactly from the vector outlines (rectangles from each outline's own vertices), so tick sides (above-only ticks, detached stubs below), gaps and extents are the drawing's own; the squared-font numerals were separated from the marks as outline clusters that do not touch the reticle and replaced by labels; ring from its vertex radii and cut angles; dots from their bezier extents.
Harson Ballistics draws this reticle at your magnification with your holdover marked on it, from your rifle, load and conditions. Works with no signal and no account.
