In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.

Drawn to scale from Vortex’s own specification sheet, and checked mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.
Drawn from Vortex Optics’s published specification.

FFP: 'subtensions measured in MRAD and remain constant at all magnifications'. Published: illuminated .165 centre dot inside a broken illuminated ring 2.5 inside / 3.5 outside (.5 thick); line .08; vertical hashes 1 at whole mils and .5 at half mils, .5 apart; horizontal half-mil ticks .25; holdover dots below centre at .69 and 2.75 (black) and 1.75 and 4.25 (red, .2); grid dots .15. Drawn, not published (the sheet is to scale): horizontal whole-mil hashes 0.5 tall and centred to 4 mil, half-mil ticks below the line only at 2.5 and 3.5; the vertical line starts 0.5 below centre and is broken around each red dot; the black dots are 0.2 across and sit on the line; ring cut at 11.5 / 78.5 / 101.5 / 168.5 degrees above the line and at about 36 degrees below it (the lower cut is slightly off radial; drawn radial at the mean); grid dots at whole mils on rows 2 (+/-1-2), 3-4 (+/-1-3) and 5-6 (+/-1-4); numerals 4 on the horizontal arm and 2 / 4 / 6 beside rows 2, 4, 6. Lines drawn to 9.2 mil (the sheet's frame is 8.8). The MOA version of this reticle is vortex-ebr-8-moa; they are not the same pattern (the MRAD has a full vertical scale and no ranging ladder).
Verified 8 Oct 2026 against specs/vortex/VTX_SE-11002_EBR-8-BDC_MRAD_1-10x24_RS_I_RI_ST.pdf page 1. Scale 20.4725 pt/mil fitted to the grid-dot pitch, centre (198.0, 221.1) = the red centre dot; all sixteen published callouts then land (listed in tools/build_vortex_ebr8_mrad.py). Lines and hashes converted exactly from the vector outlines (rectangles from the outline's own vertices; the two on-line dots cut out of the outline and drawn as dots), so which side each tick sits (horizontal half-mil ticks below only), gaps and extents are the drawing's own; dots from their bezier extents; ring from its vertex radii (1.25 / 1.75) and cut angles; numerals placed from glyph boxes.
Harson Ballistics draws this reticle at your magnification with your holdover marked on it, from your rifle, load and conditions. Works with no signal and no account.
Subtensions are published by the manufacturer and reproduced here for reference. Confirm your own dope on a range before you rely on any of it. Harson.ai is not affiliated with Vortex.
