In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.

Drawn to scale from Vortex’s own specification sheet, and checked mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.
Drawn from Vortex Optics’s published specification.

FFP; the sheet: 'subtensions measured in MOA and remain constant at all magnifications'. Built from the per-scope sheet DBK-10026_EBR-2C_MOA_RS_I_RI_ST (same drawing as DBK-10028_EBR-2C_MOA_RS_I_RI_ST), which overrides the combined PST Gen II EBR-2C / EBR-4 manual (M-00014): that manual drew bars from 33 and a plain crosshair through centre. Published for these scopes: side bars from 37, 2 thick, with a 4 MOA tick across each; bottom bar from 38; top line .12; open centre 0.25 across; grid dots .2 and .3; marks 2 and .75 long, 2 MOA apart and finer on the outer scale. Drawn, not published (every other callout lands on one scale): converted exactly from the vector outlines - every mark and which side of the line it sits, the holdover dot grid (rows widening with depth) and its dot pitch, the bar ticks, and the numerals. Not illuminated (the sheet draws no red). Lines and bars drawn to 50 MOA. Figures that do not land, recorded as PUBLISHED: .2 / .3 grid dots: published 0.5, drawn 0.5200.
Verified 9 Oct 2026 against specs/vortex/VTX_DBK-10026_EBR-2C_MOA_RS_I_RI_ST.pdf page 1 (re-downloaded from the source URL the same day, byte-identical). Scale 3.997 pt/MOA fitted to the 2 MOA bars, centre (198.0, 212.598) = the open centre; geometry converted exactly from the vector outlines; DBK-10028_EBR-2C_MOA_RS_I_RI_ST draws the same outlines. Every published callout is checked in tools/build_vortex_wave2.py and lands except one, recorded as published: .2 / .3 grid dots: published 0.5, drawn 0.5200. Checklist walked: rows and extents, hash spacing, numerals, centre element and gap, post tips, which side of the line each mark sits (all centred unless the notes say otherwise), every callout.
Harson Ballistics draws this reticle at your magnification with your holdover marked on it, from your rifle, load and conditions. Works with no signal and no account.
