In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.
Reticle library · Schmidt & Bender
Drawn to scale from Schmidt & Bender’s own specification sheet, and checked mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.
Framed to about 12 MRAD — the part of the reticle you aim with. This reticle carries marks out to 60 MRAD; the rest sits beyond the edge of this drawing.
Drawn from Schmidt & Bender GmbH & Co. KG’s published specification.
In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.
First focal plane, mrad, from S&B's dimensioned reticle data sheet for this scope (page 2 drawing + lettered coverage table, page 3 views of the field at lowest and highest magnification). Illuminated centre cross, then clear glass to the 1 mrad mark. Windage and upper stadia: 0.4 mrad marks every mrad, 0.2 mrad marks at the half, and from 4.2 to 4.8 a 0.2 mrad fine scale of one-sided 0.1 mrad marks above the horizontal line and right of the vertical. Heavy 0.4 mrad posts with tips 10 mrad apart. Lower stadia marked every 0.5 mrad. Ranging: a 16 mrad bar and four 3 mrad bars above it bracketing a 50 cm target at 500/400/300/200 m. Sheet letters (cm/100 m / 10 = mrad): A 10 post opening, B 0.2 fine spacing, C 0.5 half spacing, D 0.4 post, E 0.4 full mark, F 0.2 half mark, G 0.07 red line, H/K/L/M ranging (10/12.5/16.67/25 cm = 1.0/1.25/1.667/2.5 mrad), N 16 long bar. The sheet's in/100 yd and mrad rows print A as 3.6 and 1, contradicting its own cm row (100) and the drawing; the cm value is used. Long bar at -5, no wide marks. Not lettered on this sheet, so measured from the vector drawing: red cross 1.56 across, line 0.035, fine marks 0.1, bars 0.1. In the lowest-magnification view the lower marks end at 42 mrad and the line runs on to the edge of the field at 62.6 mrad; the line is drawn to 50 and the posts to 60 here (app plausibility limits).
Verified 8 Oct 2026 against Schmidt-Bender-Datasheet-P4FL-FFP-3-12x54-PMII-Ultra-Bright.pdf and ...-3-12x54-Polar.pdf (P4FL.zip), pages 2 and 3 of each; the two sheets' drawings and tables are identical (same XOR result, same text). Vector drawing, measured on FILL geometry only (outline strokes dropped, dimension arrows excluded). The record was rasterised the way the app draws it and XOR-compared with page 2 and with page 3's lowest-magnification view; page 2 centre from the red cross (311.51, 380.79), scale from A: post tips 210.4 pt apart -> 21.04 pt/mrad (the cm row's A = 100; the sheet's in/mrad rows misprint A as 3.6 / 1). D post 0.40, E/F marks 0.40/0.20, B/C spacing 0.2/0.5, G red line 0.07, N 16.00 at -5.00, ranging 1.00/1.25/1.67/2.50 (H/K/L/M). Red cross 1.56, line 0.035 and fine mark 0.10 measured (not lettered). XOR at 600 dpi (175 px/mrad): no disagreement inside the page-2 frame. Page 3 (scale refined on N to 2.314 pt/mrad): agrees to 50 mrad; marks stop at 42 and the line runs to the field edge at 62.6, beyond the record's 50/60 caps. Fine scale one-sided; no numerals.
