In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.
Reticle library · Schmidt & Bender
Drawn to scale from Schmidt & Bender’s own specification sheet, and checked mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.
Framed to about 12 MRAD — the part of the reticle you aim with. This reticle carries marks out to 57.3 MRAD; the rest sits beyond the edge of this drawing.
Drawn from Schmidt & Bender GmbH & Co. KG’s published specification.
In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.
First focal plane, mrad: four heavy posts with their tips 10 mrad apart, a thin cross between them, and a dot every 1 mrad (1 to 4) on all four arms. From S&B's dimensioned reticle data sheet for this scope. A 10 between the post tips, B 1 dot spacing, C 0.25 dot, D 0.06 line. Post thickness (1.0) is not lettered; measured from the vector drawing. The field at lowest magnification is 57.3 mrad; the posts are drawn to 57.3 here (app plausibility limits).
Verified 8 Oct 2026 against Schmidt-Bender-Datasheet-P3-FFP-3-12x50-PMII.pdf, pages 2 and 3. Vector drawing, measured on fill geometry only. Page 2 centre from the crossing of the thin lines, scale from A (left/right post tips) = 19.470 pt/mrad; page 3 lowest-magnification view the same way, 2.320 pt/mrad. Measured: dots 0.244 at 1.00/2.00/3.00/4.00 on every arm, line 0.061, posts 1.00, tips 5.00. The record was rasterised as the app draws it and XOR-compared with page 2 at 600 dpi: inside the page-2 frame nothing disagrees beyond 2 px except the sheet's own dimension arrowheads; the post and line extents beyond that frame were checked against the field edge on page 3 (re-checked 8 Oct 2026 in review). Dots at 1-4 mrad on all four arms, nothing between them; no numerals; post tips square.
Harson Ballistics draws this reticle at your magnification with your holdover marked on it, from your rifle, load and conditions. Works with no signal and no account.
