In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.

Drawn to scale from Schmidt & Bender’s own specification sheet, and checked mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.
Framed to about 12 MRAD — the part of the reticle you aim with. This reticle carries marks out to 60 MRAD; the rest sits beyond the edge of this drawing.
Drawn from Schmidt & Bender GmbH & Co. KG’s published specification.
In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.
First focal plane, mrad: four heavy posts with their tips 10 mrad apart, a thin cross between them, and a dot every 1 mrad (1 to 4) on all four arms. An illuminated 0.5 mrad dot sits over the centre of the cross. From S&B's dimensioned reticle data sheet for this scope. A 10 between the post tips, B 0.07 line, C 0.2 dot, D 1 dot spacing, E 0.6 post, F 0.5 illuminated centre dot. Every dimension is lettered on this sheet. The field at lowest magnification is 129.19 mrad; the posts are drawn to 60 here (app plausibility limits).
Verified 9 Oct 2026 against Schmidt-Bender-Datasheet-P3-FFP-1_5-8x26-PMII-Short-Dot.pdf (P3.zip), pages 2 and 3. Vector drawing: the reticle ink is ONE filled path with a 0.99 pt presentation outline drawn over it; measured on the fill only. Page 2 scale from A (post tips 277.44 pt apart -> 27.744 pt/mrad), centre from the four post tips (vertical opening 9.998). Measured: line 0.070 (B), posts 0.604 (E), dots at 1.00/2.00/3.00/4.00 on all four arms (D), red dot 0.500 (F); the line runs continuously through the centre under the red dot. The record was rasterised the way the app draws it and XOR-compared with page 2's fill geometry at 600 dpi (tools/pdf_sheet_compare.py, 2 px tolerance): nothing disagrees except the sheet's own dimension arrowheads. Page 3 lowest-magnification view (outlines; 1.068 pt/mrad from the post tips): posts run to the field edge at 129.2 mrad (drawn to 60 here). No numerals.
Harson Ballistics draws this reticle at your magnification with your holdover marked on it, from your rifle, load and conditions. Works with no signal and no account.
