In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.
Reticle library · Schmidt & Bender
Drawn to scale from Schmidt & Bender’s own specification sheet, and checked mark by mark by a person. This is the same geometry Harson Ballistics draws your holdover on.
Framed to about 12 MRAD — the part of the reticle you aim with. This reticle carries marks out to 41.4 MRAD; the rest sits beyond the edge of this drawing.
Drawn from Schmidt & Bender GmbH & Co. KG’s published specification.
In the first focal plane the subtensions hold true at every magnification, so a hold is a hold wherever the zoom ring sits.
First focal plane, mrad: four heavy posts with their tips 10 mrad apart, a thin cross between them, and a dot every 1 mrad (1 to 4) on all four arms. From S&B's dimensioned reticle data sheet for this scope. A 10 between the post tips, B 1 dot spacing, C 0.06 line, D 0.24 dot. The PM II and Klassik 4-16x50 sheets carry the same table and the same geometry. Post thickness (1.0) is not lettered; measured from the vector drawing. Posts and the upper line run to the edge of the field in the lowest-magnification view (41.4 mrad).
Verified 8 Oct 2026 against Schmidt-Bender-Datasheet-P3-FFP-4-16x50-PMII and -Klassik.pdf, pages 2 and 3. Vector drawing, measured on fill geometry only. Page 2 centre from the crossing of the thin lines, scale from A (left/right post tips) = 28.416 (PM II) / 30.96 (Klassik) pt/mrad; page 3 lowest-magnification view the same way, 3.712 pt/mrad. Measured on both sheets: dots 0.238 at 1-4 on every arm, line 0.060, posts 1.00, tips 5.00; the two sheets' page 3 views are identical. The record was rasterised as the app draws it and XOR-compared with page 2 at 600 dpi: inside the page-2 frame nothing disagrees beyond 2 px except the sheet's own dimension arrowheads; the post and line extents beyond that frame were checked against the field edge on page 3 (re-checked 8 Oct 2026 in review). Dots at 1-4 mrad on all four arms, nothing between them; no numerals; post tips square.
Harson Ballistics draws this reticle at your magnification with your holdover marked on it, from your rifle, load and conditions. Works with no signal and no account.
